I love creating websites and interactives, from wireframes to mockups to development, and playing around with JavaScript, ActionScript, Processing and PHP. I'm also passionate about IA and UX—my experience as a managing editor creating content to meet reader's needs has given me a natural empathy for users and a strong desire to promote the best user experience possible in every project.

I like combining my programming and editorial skills to create interactives that tell stories in innovative ways—I'm particularly interested in data visualization, and have just completed a masters thesis examining best practices for incorporating it into news websites.
