An early experiment in data visualization created in Processing for my Data Visualization module at City University. The visualization has a low data-ink ratio thanks to the use of both colours and plotted points to show the data, but I think these two elements work well together to give viewers a clearer impression of temperature change than they might get otherwise—the colours give the eye an instant general impression of the change, while the points give the absolute value.
